The XD Mod.2 Threaded Service model is perfectly proportioned for silenced use. The Threaded Service model has extra tall suppressor sights to ensure visibility over most standard suppressor bodies. The steel three-dot sights are finely serrated on the shooter-facing sides to minimize glare and provide a crisp sight picture. It also features GripZone, which optimizes contact between the human hand and the frame of the pistol. The striker status indicator, loaded chamber indicator, grip safety, Ultra Safety Assurance (USA) Action Trigger System and internal firing pin block bring the safety.
